How to change the parallel port mode on the computer?
2. When the Sony screen is displayed, press the F2 key on the keyboard to enter the BIOS setup .
3. Press the RIGHT ARROW key to select the Advanced menu.
4. Press the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW key to select I/O Device Configuration and then press the ENTER key.
5. Press the DOWN ARROW key to select Parallel Port Mode and then press the ENTER key.
6. Press the PLUS (+) key to change the value to the desired setting.
8. Press the F10 key.
9. Press the ENTER key twice to save and exit.

Unable to create a disc using the Click To DVD software after installing the Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2?
1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel .
2. In the Control Panel window, under Pick a category , double-click the Performance and Maintenance icon.
3. In the Performance and Maintenance window, under Pick a task... , click Adjust visual effects .
4. In the Performance Options window, click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
5. On the Data Execution Prevention tab, click to select Turn on DEP for all programs... .
6. Click the Add... button.
7. In the Open window, navigate to the Click To DVD folder.
9. Click the Open button.

How to use the Task Manager to end a task?
1. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE .
2. In the Windows Security window, click the Task Manager button.
3. In the Windows Task Manager window, click the Applications tab.
4. On the Applications tab, click to select the application to close.
5. Click the End Task button.
6. On the menu bar , click File .
7. On the File menu, click Exit Task Manager .

Computer Hangs or Restarts When You Connect USB Device 2
Troubleshooting Information
• A black exclamation point (!) on a yellow field indicates the device is in a problem state. Note that a device that is in a problem state can be functioning.
• A problem code explaining the problem is displayed for the device.
• A red "X" indicates a disabled device. A disabled device is a device that is physically present in the computer and is consuming resources, but does not have a protected-mode driver loaded.
• A blue "i" on a white field on a device resource in Computer properties indicates that the Use Automatic Settings feature is not selected for the device and that the resource was manually selected. Note that this does not indicate a problem or disabled state.
